I want to thank everyone for their support and for the many emails
I received during this past two weeks. Although it will take about
two more weeks before I fully recover I couldn't resist the temptation
to write a tool review for this week - SubmitWolf
Pro . Thank you again for your support!
A message from the Webmaster

R.
Well friends, I have some bad news. This past Saturday I had an
accident and injured my right hand (it's actually fractured), the
doctor says that it will take about 4 weeks for it to heal. This
means that I won't be able to write new content for Webbuilder101.com
for at least 2 to 3 weeks. I wanted to let you know of this so that
you won't be left wondering why new content isn't being added to
the site.
I will try to continue to send the Web Building newsletter on a
weekly basis however, I will take this misfortune as an opportunity
to take a much needed break - I haven't had one since Webbuilder101.com
went live two years ago.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for all your
support, and for your understanding regarding this matter.
See you soon!

Updating the Books section

R.
The Books section needs some serious updating; to that end, I'd
like to ask for your help. Please suggest books that you have read
and found to be of great value. You can suggest books for the following
categories: HTML, HTML Editors, Internet, Operating Systems, Scripting
Languages, Web Building, and Graphics.
By submitting your suggestions you'll be helping fellow web builders
get a hold of must have books that are both, great learning tools
and excellent references. Send your suggestions to: Suggest
a book!
Thanks for your support!
Revisiting the Flash FAQ file
July 16, 2000 11:13 PM ET. Eddy
R.
Because we've received several questions regarding Macromedia's
Flash 4, we thought it would be a good idea to revisit the Macromedia
Flash FAQ file. Also, don't forget to visit the Flash
Resource center for links to many Flash resources such as Tutorials,
downloads, and more.
Scheduled Maintenance
June 22, 2000 10:41 PM ET. Eddy
R.
On Saturday June 24, 2000 from 10:00 AM to noon Eastern Standard
Time, Web Builder 101 will undergo some maintenance tasks that may
result in possible Site downtime.
The time chosen to carry out the maintenance tasks is not the most
appropriate, however due to the importance of such maintenance,
it is necessary that this action be taken.
Best Regards.

Improved Resource Center
Up until a few weeks ago, the Resources link in the top
navigation bar used to take you to a page that pretty much contained
a few links to other resource sites. Well, that was then, now the
Resources link will take you to a very different place - a Resource
Center that covers different Web Building topics such as Flash,
Dreamweaver, etc. New links to resources and tutorials will be added
everyday. Other topics that will be included in this resource center
are: Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks, HomeSite, Cold Fusion, etc.
If you would like to share bookmarks to tutorials and/or other
resource sites that cover any or all of the topics mentioned above,
send them to bookmarks@webbuilder101.com.
