Webmasters love to design their web sites for resolutions such
as the ones mentioned above for many reasons. This is done by specifying
the size at which Tables are rendered on browsers.
Sites that have Tables with fixed widths only suit the viewing
needs of those who run their systems at the resolutions for which
those sites were developed, the rest, people who run their systems
at different resolutions, need to put up with the hassles that such
site designs cause, such as having to scroll too much horizontally.
The best way to suit everyone's needs, is to use percents when
specifying Table sizes. Using percents for table sizes will allow
everyone to see a site at whatever resolution their system is running.
In other words, your site's visitors won't have to scroll horizontally
anymore. Try it! Your site's visitors will thank you for it.
