Web builders these days, are starting to realize that promoting their sites through search engines, web rings, link exchange programs, and affiliate programs isn't enough to increase their site's traffic -- that's why they are looking for new ways to promote their sites.

If you haven't thought of it, here is another way to help boost your site's traffic.

Reciprocal Links

Yes, that's right. Exchange links with other web builders.

Even though this isn't a "new" way to promote a web site, it is worth mentioning because many web builders have forgotten about it. Exchanging links with others is a powerful way to increase your site's traffic. Just think of it. If the "site" with which you are exchanging links gets 50,000 hits a month, then your site will be exposed to those 50,000 visitors (and the same goes for the other site). And since you won't be exchanging links with just one site, think of much exposure your site could get.

Now, why don't you go ahead and make friends with other web builders and start exchanging links?
