Do you have a web site? If so, does it have a logo? If it does have a logo, where in your page is it located, and is it on every page of your site?

"Why ask all these questions?" you might ask. Well, there is a good reason why.

If your web site has a logo that represents it and therefore makes it recognizable to most people, it is very important that you exercise consistency when placing it (the logo) in your site's pages. What do I mean when I say consistency? Well, let's use an example.

Look at the Web Builder 101 logo at the upper left corner of the this page. If you've visited other pages on this site you might have noticed that the logo appears on every single page in the same location in the same size. That's what I mean when I talk about consistency.

Being consistent in the way you place things on your site specially something as important as your logo, will make your site more attractive.

Remember, a great way to help people remember your site is by providing them with a logo they can recognize anywhere, and the best way to accomplish that is by being consistent in the way in which you place such logo on every page in your web site.
