If you have an e-mail account then you are very likely to deal
with junk e-mail in the future, that's if you haven't dealt with
it already.
Junk e-mail besides making you mad, can pose a serious threat to
your privacy. Fortunately there are ways to deal with junk e-mail,
below are some suggestions.
-
Never pass-on chain letters
A lot of people fall in this one.
I can't stress enough how important it is to ignore this type
of e-mail. Chain letters besides being a hoax, do nothing but
to collect peoples' e-mail addresses so that people like marketers
can then sell them for a profit, the result? The result is that
you'll get a lot more junk e-mail than you used to.
-
Block unwanted e-mail
Most e-mail accounts come with
features that allow you to block unwanted e-mail, ISPs
such as America Online provide their subscribers with such features,
there is also filtering software that will allow you to accomplish
such task.
There are many other ways you can stop junk
e-mail, if you would like more information regarding this matter

the Web".
