There is a number of things that could
be wrong with your browser. My best guess is that some of the files
your browser uses were corrupted or even deleted.
I would suggest that you uninstall Internet Explorer and then install
it back. Here is how you can do it.
If you are using Windows 95/98 you can do the following.

Click on Start then go to Settings and select Control Panel.

Double click on Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel window.

Select Internet Explorer and click on Add/Remove.
To reinstall Internet Explorer do the following.

From the Control Panel window double click on Add/Remove Programs.

Click on Install and follow the instructions. That's it.
Remember to back up your favorites folder before you uninstall
Internet Explorer or you will lose your bookmarks.
