A thumbnail is a small version of an image that is hyperlinked
to a full-size version of the same image.
To create a thumbnail in FrontPage 98 do the following:
-
In the FrontPage Editor, select the image with which you want
to create the thumbnail.
-
Select AutoThumbnail from the Tools menu.
That's it! If you wish to change the settings of the thumbnail
do the following:
One of the advantages of using thumbnails is that web pages that
use them usually load faster. By using thumbnails you are also giving
your site's visitors the option to view the image(s) if they like
or not view the image(s) at all if they prefer so, instead
of forcing them to wait for your web page to load all those images
whether they want to see them or not.
