the site's icon was on my Favorites instead of the regular icon
used for bookmarks. How is this done " ?

This is an Internet Explorer 5 feature. It allows you to display
your site/company's logo or any other graphic on the Favorites (Bookmarks)
menu and Address bar of your browser.
To be able to use this feature, you must make an icon 16x16 pixels
and save it with the extension .ico. The file name should be Favicon.ico.
Once the icon has been created, it must be placed in the root directory
of your site (www.example.com/favicon.ico) so that whenever
someone bookmarks or visits your site, the favicon.ico icon may
show up.
As more webmasters find out about Favicon, you can expect to see
more and more web sites taking advantage of this neat feature.

Simply bookmark Web Builder 101 and watch the icon change
in the Address bar.
Note: You must go back to the Home page or hit Refresh on
your browser to see the effect.
