Here is a neat effect you can use to jazz up text in your graphics files. This effect is called Drop Shadow and can be easily created with Photoshop - the tool we'll be using.

Fire up Photoshop and open a new canvas - if you don't have Photoshop run a search on Drop Shadow in the Help file from your graphics editor. Now, here is what to do to accomplish the effect:

Click on the Type Tool and type any text.

After you click on OK, you should get something like this:

Now, let's go ahead and add the effect to our text.
