Here is a nice tool I found yesterday while surfing the net. It's called Kryptel (Screen shot 1 2 ).

Kryptel is a file encryption program that allows you to protect any file and/or folder with strong cryptographic algorithms. With an easy to use interface and drag-and-drop support, encrypting files is a breeze!

Some features that come with this neat tool are: support for ciphers (Triple-DES, Blowfish, IDEA, etc), efficient data compression (using ZIP or BZIP methods), support for binary keys and raw binary keys, the ability to encrypt any number of files/folders in a single operation, Automated Data Recovery subsystem that makes possible to recover data after a fatal error or a system crash, and my favorite, File Shredder for secure deletion of sensitive data. Kryptel also works on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000.
